How Apple Pie came to beOnce upon a time there was a pie. The pie was not very happy, for he was only a pie crust. His friend, Apple, was his best friend and he like her.  One day, Pie went up to Apple and said, "Will you become my filling?"  
Apple, flattered, replied, "Well, what a thing to ask. Of course I will."  Solemly, Pie said, "but, before we become one, you must be cut and i shall be baked."  Apple smiled gently, "A small price, if i can be with you."
